Guest Post at SomeWiseGuy.com: Ready or not...here comes fatherhood

Today I'm guest posting at K.C. Procter's SomeWiseGuy.com, as I was asked to take part in K.C.'s "Dad Week," a whole week of posts relating to fatherhood.

Here's an excerpt from my post:

Luckily, I've had a good role model to take notes from. Not everyone is that blessed, but I've been fortunate enough to have a father who showed me what it meant to lead in love.

My dad is Robert Emmet Haggerty. He's the son of Irish immigrants, a heritage of which I've always been proud. He's a high school English teacher, as well as the pastor of a small Baptist church in Virginia.
