Chad Gibbs' "Love Thy Rival" - Plus - a Plug for Charitable Giving
I first met Chad Gibbs a few months ago. He was a mutual acquaintance, and he commented on of my blog posts, so I checked out his site and his writing, in general.
I loved it. All of it.
Chad is a great writer, and this is evidenced in his latest book about sports rivalries. It's called Love Thy Rival, and you can buy the paperback version HERE. Buy the Kindle version of his book HERE. Either way, just buy it...okay?
If you're still not sold, click the Kindle link I provided. If you click on the image of the book, you will be able to read a sample passage of the book. After you do that, you'll buy it, for sure.
Otherwise, you're dead to me.
That's not true.
But buy it, ok?
One more thing. Chad is also raising money for an awesome organization called Samaritan's Purse. He's set it up so fans of sports rivalries can try and outgive each other, for a good cause. It's a really cool idea, and you can find out more about it HERE.

Guest Post at ChadGibbs.com: "Why I Hate Bandwagon Fans"
Today, I'm asking you guys to head over to my friend Chad Gibbs' site to check out a guest post I wrote for him titled: "Why I Hate Bandwagon Fans."
Here's an excerpt:
"It makes me sick to see people go from team to team like a fat kid in a buffet line.
We saw it last year when Duke won the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Duke Blue was everywhere.
This year, a lot of those same fair-weather supporters kept the blue, but they changed the logo to that of the Kentucky Wildcats."
So check it out, and if you have comments, please leave them over at Chad's place. Thanks guys!

Chad Gibbs Interview
Chad Gibbs runs and writes for his personal blog, ChadGibbs.com. He also wrote a book called "God and Football." I could explain the book for you, but I'd rather give you an excerpt of what may possibly be the stupidest review of a book I've ever seen, in which a person with no common sense gave Mr. Gibbs a two-star rating for his book:
"So why did I only give this book a 2-star rating, you ask? Simple, because it deserves a better rating, so I shorted the author and didn't treat him fairly. Ha! You see, that is the point. The author realizes that maybe God deserves a higher rating in his own life, but he has been rating his relationship with God a little lower on the scale than he should, so I did the same to the author of this book in order to make a point*."Dumb, right?
You know what isn't dumb? Chad Gibbs' writing. He's good at what he does, and he's also a really nice, down to Earth guy.
This interview also is not dumb.
